Led by Richie Homminga, Native Services has grown its footprint, service offerings, and equipment to power large scale site development, earth work, underground utilities construction, compressor station construction, ponds, well pads, and more.

Richie Homminga
Founder – Owner
As the founder of Native Services, Richie has overseen two decades of growth and success in the Sitework Industry. He began his career in Environmental Remediation during the formative years of his early twenties, and was highly sought after due to his proven success and leadership from a young age. With a ton of determination, a desire to treat people the way he wanted to be treated, and a perfect storm of opportunity, Native Services was born in 2001.
Right after Hurricane Katrina, Native Services was one of the first sitework contractors on-site and was a key partner of the US Army Corps of Engineers. After months of support, dozens of people, hundreds of support vehicles and equipment, with tens of millions of yards of earth moved, under the leadership of Richie, Native Services had proven itself a serious partner with bonafide success in some of the hardest areas to work in the South.
With that success in the fall of 2005, Native Services became intrenched in the Houston area in private, commercial, industrial, and governmental sitework. With our foundation built by our highly experienced leadership, with the best equipment, Richie set out to lead Native Services as it established itself as a leader in building multi-family housing.
After twenty years of year-over-year growth, Richie has built Native Services’ market position as a well funded, well equipped, and well led sitework builder. Richie has seen his dream continue to build from the original three person team, to around a hundred today. With an imperative to sole-source every aspect of his organization, Native not only has one of the largest equipment fleets in the industry, but self-performs all equipment maintenance ensuring that every piece of equipment is safe, capable, and performing at their best to get the job done on-time and on-budget.
Richie continues today in his mission to build the best organization, with the best people, treating everyone the way he would like to be treated, ensuring his clients that their best interest is at the heart of Native Services. Proudly, Richie and our team at Native Services maintains the capacity to perform at least two new large scale, $25M+, projects at once while still completing current projects, ensuring that we are always available to outperform, outwork, and out compete our competition.
Calvin Johnson
Vice President – Operations
Calvin has over 29 years of Heavy Construction Experience including site work, road construction, paving, utilities, pipelines construction, compression station construction, ponds, and well pads, along with certifications in OSHA, MSHA, Trenching, Safety, and multiple operator certifications.
He leads our operations division having proven himself over many large projects from the cleanup from Katrina, to large house developments, land developments, plant constructions including U.S. Silica Frac Sand Plants.
Roger Garneau
Superintendent – Site Utilities
With over 20 years of experience in overseeing site utility projects, and more than 48 years of total industry experience. At Native Services Roger manages his team with a long history of distinction, quality, and attention to detail. He has extensive experience in commercial and industrial construction, underground utilities, wastewater lines, along with many certifications and memberships.
J.C. Galbreath
Vice President – Underground Utilities
J.C. has over 22 years of experience in project management and estimation of site utilities projects. Licensed in the State of Texas to install underground fire lines, J.C. has managed over $21M of site utilities projects each year for over a decade. With proven success in multiple large scale projects, including those of the ExxonMobil World Headquarters, clients can be assured that their projects are managed by one of the best in the industry.
Jon Shipley
Estimating Manager
Jon has over 15 years of Heavy Construction Estimating Experience in all types of site work including paving. As the leader of our estimation group, Jon is an expert in civil engineering and contract reviews.
With an annual average Request for Quote volume of over $150Million per year, his team manages, reviews, prepares, and submits RFQs on a weekly basis.
Daniel McDaniel
Director – Fleet Maintenance
Overseeing the vast fleet of Native Services, Daniel has built over 15 years of experience in fleet management. Currently overseeing Native Services large and experienced maintenance and repair team, they keep each of the 150 heavy construction machines and many haul trucks running at peak efficiency.
